Summer 2026 Internship Opportunities
The application process for our two Summer internships typically begins on or before March 1st and is open until filled. Please contact the district manager with any inquiries at 231-582-6193, or email charlevoixcd@macd.org.

Outreach Internship
Work directly with youth and their families and conduct mini nature sessions during our 6 week Nature in the Park series, plus facilitate other community outreach opportunities varying from Senior Centers, Farmers Markets & local libraries to County parks and more.
Field Tech Intern
Oversee maintenance needs for our American Beach Grass Nursery located south of Charlevoix. Facilitate our annual Work Day event at the nursery with the local community. Work alongside our CTAP Technician to conduct soil health tests on local farms, assist with various projects on the district's grounds, including but not limited to equipment care and native garden needs.
