A great addition to a family hike, or way to make backyard explorations more fun! The Nature To-Go Pack is free to loan any day of the week, for up to 3 days at a time. Perfect for parents, grandparents, caregivers and homeschool groups looking to offset screen time with the young ones in their life.

Books to inspire parents, grandparents, caregivers and educators on ways to encourage exploration in the outdoors with the cherubs in their life. Learn ways to explore nature with toddlers, preschoolers and older children in your own backyard, the school playground or a nearby park.

Explore Pack
Donated by Susan Vrondron through a grant from Thrivent Financial. This pack is geared toward the adventurous adult interested in learning more about nature and wildlife in winter. One pair of snowshoes is available for loan with this pack. Snowshoes will fit most adults between 120-200 lbs.

Nature in the Park
Late June-Early August
Join us every Wednesday morning, starting at 10:30 for a fun, hands-on nature adventure! Six different hour long programs are free and geared toward ages 4-8, but families of all ages are welcome. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to stay as the activities are gently guided to allow for your own creative exploration and discovery.
