Chairman - Timothy Matchett Tim has been with the District since 1985. Together with his wife Linda, the Matchetts raise sheep & lambs. They live in Marion Township with their children Isaac, Mia, Noah & Lily Ann. Tim has received the Community Citizen Award from the Barnard Grange for being a farmer in the area and finding time to be Chairman of the Barnard United Methodist Church Administrative Board; President of the Charlevoix County Farm Bureau; Chairman of the Marion Township Planning Commission and Chairman of the Charlevoix Conservation District.
Vice Chairman - Wayne Saunders Wayne and his wife Sally live in Eveline township. He farmed all his life, running an egg enterprise and managing a beef herd. Wayne has retired now, but continues to be a very busy man. He has been on the Conservation District Board since 1985 and also serves on the Charlevoix County Road Commission.
Treasurer - Dave Stolt Dave and his wife Lucy live in Bay township on the Stolt Family Centennial Farm. He has 140 acres, a small beef, sheep & hay operation. Dave has been on the Conservation District Board since 1983 where he has served as treasurer. He is actively involved with FFA, Grange, 4-H, and is an elder at the Bayshore Presbyterian Church.
Member - Eric Beishlag Eric lives in Eveline township and owns 280 acres. He owns & operates Beishlag Forest Products, Inc. with his son Aaron. Eric served as director from 1982-1985, then in September 1996 he was appointed to fill the vacancy when Bill Korthase, Jr. passed away. Eric was re-elected at the Annual Meeting held on October 22, 1998.
Member - Ron Reinhardt Ron and his wife Bea live in Wilson township. He operates Riverside Farms with his brothers Dale & Terry, and works at East Jordan Iron Works as well. Ron has been on the District Board before. He served as director from 1980--1986, and again from 1990--1998. Ron is retired from East Jordan Iron Works and is currently a member of the Charlevoix County Board of Commissioners.
